Leading the nominations, Daytime serial General Hospital receives 18 nominations.

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced the nominees for the 37th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards on CBS' The Early Show, Wednesday, May 12. Several major categories were announced live on the morning news program, including this year’s Lifetime Achievement honoree, Agnes Nixon.

What follows is a list of the nominees in the categories for daytime serials.

Daytime drama General Hospital also received nominations in the Outstanding Promotional Announcement – Episodic for its promos, “Graffiti” and “Carnival.” General Hospital, One Life to Live, As the World Turns, and The Bold and the Beautiful will also compete against the CW’s children’s show Kamen Rider Dragon Knight in the Outstanding Stunt Coordination category.

The Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards recognize outstanding achievement in daytime television during the previous year. The awards program covers talk shows, childrens’ programs and daytime serials.
